The Moore Girls Softball Association is an organization made up of volunteers from Moore, Oklahoma and surrounding communities that organize, support, and facilitate softball leagues for the young ladies of our communities. MGSA offers both Slowpitch and Fastpitch leagues ranging in ages from 4 to 18 years old.

Moore Girls Softball Association for Fall 2008
We offer both fastpitch and slowpitch from 6U (T-ball) to 16U.
Our park is located off of 12th and Eastern in Buck Thomas Park in Moore, OK.
There are NO GATE FEES for League games.
We are going to offer a 10 game Fall league. The league will run from around 9/8 to around 10/23.
Teams will play one night a week, with as many double headers as possible.
League teams will have a FREE Entry into our Moving Up Tournament (Sat 9/6-Sun 9/7). The tournament is open to any teams that are moving up to a new age division in the Fall. MGSA League teams will be able to enter for free, teams outside of MGSA may enter for $75.
Teams will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. An $80.00 deposit will be required to lock in your per player rate:
Price Per Child: Date Deposit Due to Ensure This Price:
$15.00 On or Before August 12th (General Meeting)
$20.00 Auguts 13th through August 20th
$25.00 Any date after August 21st.
Example: Team All-Star has 10 players. Pays the $80 league deposit at the Coaches Meeting. The price per player is $15.00. The total league costs are $150.00 for the team. (The league deposit will be returned at the end of the season, once the team finishes the schedule, without forfeits, etc.)
MGSA General Meeting and Fall Coaches Meeting: August 12th 630PM at the Moore Community Center in the Gym.
Fall Player Sign Ups: Moore Community Center; Sat 8/16 and Sat 8/23; 10A-2P. Ages 6U-14U.
Roster Turn In: Mon Aug 25th. 6-8P at the MGSA Ball park.
Softball Divisions
6U (T-ball): We hope to offer a 6U A division and 6U B division. The 6U A Division will be a great division for those teams that are mostly 2002's, as they enter there 2nd year of T-ball.
The 6U B division will be a good starting point for those teams that are mostly 2003's and 2004's, to get started in softball. (We will divisionalize with 10 or more 6U teams.)
8U MP: We also hope to divisionalize our 8U division in the Fall. We offer an 8U MP B division. This division plays 60 feet bases, the machine is set at 35 mph, and there is no stealing. This is a good division for 1st year machine pitch teams moving up from 6-U (T-ball).
We also offer and 8U MP A Division. This division plays 60 feet baes, the machine is set at 37mph, and stealing bases is allowed. This is a good league for 2nd year teams that are looking to transition to 10U. (We will divisionalize with 10 or more 8U teams.)
10U: We offer a competitive 10U KP Division. We should have a good core of returning first year 10U KP teams begining their second year.
Also, this is the last season MGSA will be offering 10U MP. This will give everyone time to make adjustments and develop pitching over the next 9 months.
12U, 14U: Our leagues are played by standard ASA Rules. We hope to have a good group of 1st year 12U teams to join, our returning group of teams.
Slowpitch: We do offer slowpitch divisions as well, from 8U (Coach Pitch) to 16U Slowpitch.
